Hi, I’m eve capewell.

I haven’t always been into fitness. In fact, I used to find the idea of working out completely overwhelming. But then I discovered the types of exercise that I actually enjoy and that, I think, is key. I began to exercise because it had a hugely positive impact on my mental health and from there the idea of Cape Wellness was born.

In 2019 I started training as a Fitness Instructor. Fast forward to 2024, one global pandemic and two babies later and I’m a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer.

My aim with Cape Wellness is to work with you to find out what exercise you like to do; what is going to make you actually get up and want to do it. Most importantly though, I want you to feel good about yourself, not because you’re working towards being a certain size or shape, but because your mental wellbeing is being positively impacted.


My Approach

I’m not the sort of Personal Trainer who’s going to shout at you to do twenty more push ups. Of course, I’ll encourage you to do your best, but I’m a firm believer that if you feel encouraged and empowered, then you’re more likely to stick at something.

The fitness industry can be intimidating and confusing. For a long time, it’s been too easy to look on our social media feeds and compare ourselves to others. But change is happening. I want to use Cape Wellness to be part of this change, allowing anyone to feel like they can exercise and take care of their bodies, no matter who they are.
